Welcome to the web site of
Sustainable Westbury on Trym (SusWot)

We launched in 2008. We’re a group of local people looking at the issues of climate change and diminishing fossil fuel reserves. By adapting the ways in which we travel, eat, work and consume, we’re looking to create a happier, healthier, more sustainable and closer-knit community. We’re part of Transition Bristol.

Our main meetings are monthly. We also have working groups on transport, green spaces, recycling and energy. We take part in city-wide initiatives too. So come along and get involved!

It's back! SusWot proudly presents its second Eco Fiesta in the pedestrianised High St. Lots to see and do, with stalls, competitions, and entertainment. Free entry.

There's money in those bills

SusWot recently launched a new energy project. We're working with
the Energy Saving Trust (EST), and our aim is to help Westbury
households save £300 on their energy costs each and every year - and cut
carbon emissions.
